Your 3-day get-away sounds absolutely wonderful! What did you do with your kids? I can't even remember the last time my husband and I got away alone together.

We also ring in the new year early! Since both our boys have CFS, it's just not worth all of us crashing the next day. They don't seem to mind they've never stayed up till midnight. Typically, we celebrate at 8 or 9 pm while we're staying with my in-laws in Oklahoma. This year, we actually yelled Happy New Year and filled the air with confetti and poppers at 6:30 pm!! My mother-in-law has advanced Parkinson's and is now in a nursing home, and that was as late as she could last before going back to the home for bed. We still had fun. And, my husband and I watched the ball drop in Times Square at 11 pm - I love being in Central Time! That's the latest I've made it in many years. so I was pleased.

Happy New Year!

SueSue Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14532098225905355332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700350244540803490.post-85555505049164100762009-01-02T09:02:00.000-08:002009-01-02T09:02:00.000-08:00How wonderful that you could get away like that an...How wonderful that you could get away like that and enjoy those days without collapsing!
